Short profiles of Winter Olympic and Paralympic athletes

Team GB and Paralympics GB’s success stories will continue again in 2022 when both send delegations to the Winter Olympics in Beijing. ‘Cooler Runnings’ will be a series of short profile pieces stripped daily across the station during the Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympic Games.

Following the success of the summer events in Tokyo, it was the new sports and disciplines which really captured the public imagination and the same will be true in the winter event. ‘Cooler Runnings’ will bring together one of the BMX freestyle medal winning stars together with their counterparts on snow and ice to share knowledge and insight about newer sports like freestyle skiing and snowboarding.
