Looking at the BRITS winners that broke down the barriers of sexism and misogyny, and paved the way for the diverse musical landscape we love and enjoy today.

The series is fronted by broadcaster and journalist Jackie Brambles, who speaks directly to the female artists that brought about such great change, and hears the stories first-hand from the people that lived and breathed this fascinating period in the history of our popular culture.
